Seventh graders from Skuhrov n. B. Elementary School on an excursion to the ASV company

On Tuesday, June 17, the 7th grade of the Skuhrov nad Bělou Elementary School visited us as part of a professional excursion to our facility in Rychnov nad Kněžnou. Thank you for the feedback from the teacher:

"Before the excursion, we gathered together information that could be found on the Internet about this company, or that the children knew from their family members. We talked about how children imagine certain types of machines and how they imagine production. The reception at the company was very nice and the explanation of the individual production phases was understandable for the children. The children had the opportunity to see various production phases, including CNC machines and painting and welding robots. These machines interested them the most. On the way, they also completed a school assignment to ask at least two employees what they enjoyed about working at the company. At the end, a knowledge quiz was prepared for the children, which was a great success. After returning, we evaluated the excursion and the children filled out a worksheet in groups. We also found out at which secondary schools in the area you can get a qualification as a toolmaker, CNC machine operator or where you can get a welding certificate as part of your studies. The excursion was very beneficial, it showed the children in practice many of the topics they learn about in physics. It also gave us a number of "topics for the areas of Man and the World of Work and Choosing a Secondary School. We would like to thank ASV for this and look forward to further cooperation."

We are glad that we were able to introduce technical practice to the students and help them develop a more concrete idea of production processes and future professions.
